Leaders

April 6, 2007

Out of all the Evangelical churches in Paris, only 15% of the pastors are French nationals.  A startling statistic which really demonstrates the cronic lack of FRENCH church leaders.  Please pray.

  1. That’s normal. France is one of the very rare country where there is a real separation between church and state. We donĂ¹t need church leaders, french people do not attend churches anywway.

  2. Firstly, the sepatation between church and state, real or otherwise, has nothing to do with people’s personal faith. Secondly, if 15% are French, that means 85% are not French and working in a church (like me), which would suggest that French people do go to church, simply there aren’t many French nationals who want to be leaders…possibly because of the dislike of authority in this country??
