April in Paris
Well, it was beautiful! The sun shone, the blossom was out, the crowds weren’t too crowdy and the sunset over the city was fantastic. We had a few hiccups too…one driver got pulled over by the police and was awarded a 90€ fine, I was assaulted in the metro, we were ripped off in a restaurant and got very lost and only arrived back in Orleans at 2am. A long, long day, but full of memories!!

I was on my own in the metro and I stood on a man’s toe…he was very annoyed and started to rough me up a bit. It was all quite bizarre. He proceeded to push me around and then pull off my scarf and clean his shoe with it!? It was a bit weird because he was shouting in a foreign language and there was no one else around. Apart from a few bruises on my arms, I’m OK!
