I’m in!

July 7, 2008

I’ve made it!  The move went relitively smoothly - praise God!  Everything seems just so perfect that I’m waiting for something awful to happen…isn’t that terrible?!

My flat is LOVELY!  I am sooooooo blessed.  There are 3 other lads in the house.  Met 2 of them, even drank tea with one in the garden!!  It’s a bit like a glorified student house.  Becuase it isn’t real apartments, just a house split up, you hear all the moving around of everone else.  It’s quite comforting, I feel less alone!  It could get frustrating at night but so far eveything’s been fine.

I’m in a real chaos.  The kitchen units are still waiting to be fitted so everything is in semi-opened boxes and bags.  I have just been able to plug my fridge in.  I’ve spent 2 days eating take-away pizza and brioche and jam!  I’m going to get some vegetables in tonight!

It’s quite tricky knowing where to put everything.  This flat is 10m2 smaller than Orleans and I have lost 2 big cupboards…at the moment it’s a bit like a jigsaw puzzle trying to find places for everything.

I want to show you some photos but I can’t find my camera lead.  I’ll get there, stay tuned!

(Oh, I’ve managed to connect to an unsecured network - life in cities is great!!)
